.Being a woman is considered a big crime in Iran. What is the reason? The reason is because of the anti-women propaganda carried out by the Iranian regime's religious figures and increasing pressure, oppression and discrimination against women.
Mohabat News – As a Muslim woman in Iran, I was given the least human rights in comparison to what men had. Women's rights, according to the Islamic Republic's laws, are measured by their gender and not by universal equal human standards and rights.

In Iran which is ruled by religious experts and Islamic clerics, the position of women's rights is so unfortunate that women have become second-class citizens under the anti-women patriarchal laws. They have been pushed to the margins of society and do not enjoy the same and equal human rights that men have in society.

In Iran which is ruled by religious experts and Islamic clerics, the position of women's rights is so unfortunate that women have become second-class citizens under the anti-women patriarchal laws. They have been pushed to the margins of society and do not enjoy the same and equal human rights that men have in society.

Women are considered second rate humans and under no condition are they allowed to enjoy equal rights with men in society. Unfortunately, for years women's voice against oppression and inequalities in the Islamic regime of Iran has been repressed by regime authorities and so, the civilized world hardly ever hears this strangled voice.

Being a woman is considered a big crime in Iran. What is the reason? The reason is because of the anti-women propaganda carried out by the Iranian regime's religious leaders and their increasing pressure, oppression and discrimination against women. The media continuously promotes the idea that the home is the best place for women and doing housekeeping jobs like cooking, bringing up the children and making her body available to the sexual desires of her man. This their definition of the role of women.

With regards to the Islamic Republic's constitution and laws, women have no human value according to which they might have some human rights. In the Islamic regime's attitude it is obvious that women are a second-class gender and considered half a human, owned by men. Just like a man can own an animal, a house or a car.
